Ben, King George II has perhaps followed Georgie Anne Geyer's script, but I seem to have arrived at much the same conclusions although being a rampant atheist. So it's not a hot-line to the Big Fellah which forms the foundation of my thinking. Georgie presenting King G's motivations as simplistic old-time self-aggrandizing crusader messianic fervour is silly. I agree with the view that it's the good guys versus the Matrix of Malevolence. The Matrix of Malevolence sets the terms, so violence isn't a choice we have. Some bullying thugs just like violence for power, and for the enjoyment of it - just as some like golf. Going all limp won't stop them. Mqurice
