My god, the amazing naivety of liberals! All you're saying is let's just convince this bad guy to be a good guy instead.

Rather than make Saddam Hussein the bogeyman, bring him into the fold. Ask him to commit his oil-rich resources to helping to solve some of the problems described in point one. Get him to sign non-agression pacts with his neighbors. In effect, enlist his support in beginning a dictators anonymous program. See if he'd agree to changing the manner in which he has run his country from a bad way into a good way and that as he undergoes these changes get his help in making other dictators reform as well. Get his support in going after OBL's worldwide terrorist organization.

Say what do you do if he says "sure" with a smile but then keeps doing the same old things (which is what he's done for the past 12 years)? Gee, then we're back to exactly where we are now, huh?

Hey, guys, I have this great idea - I'll start a foundation for the conversion of bad people into good people. All I have to do is persuade them to start doing good things instead of bad things. See its simple. I'm sure we'll eradicate human evil (for those of you who don't believe anything is evil, please forgive my use of this primitive religious term). Of course, I'll need some money to get things started. Please PM me to make arrangements for financial contributions.
