If you have a fidelity brokerage account that is not limited to FIDO funds, you might be interested to buy pcrix. This is a PIMCO institutional fund that you can buy through Fido brokerage at a low minimum. It is called Commodity Real Return Strategy Fund. It is a sophisticated strategy that would seem to be a good bet right now. They buy commodity swap agreements. It is difficult for a small investor to make commodity purchases. This fund also has a large portion of US inflation-indexed bonds. That is the only US bond to hold right now IMHO. Sharon
