At 5? Er, I hardly dare ask what they're learning. Still, it would explain why French girls were so often described as 'precocious'.

Seriously, I guess it's sensible - they'll maybe be less likely to regard sex as either something secretive and dirty, or an ideal subject for teen rebellion. How does France compare on things like teen pregnancy and STD rates, or is this early sex ed. a new initiative?
