Apparently you did not listen to Bush's speech last night?

From his perspective - and I agree - the multilateral approach has been tried with Iraq, and it has not worked.

Nothing of value will come from prolonging the ongoing process indefinitely. The charade is over.

The US has one final resolution to be introduced to the UN to be voted on next week.

Saddam must disarm. Now.

Regardless of whether the UN Security Council agrees or not, military action will start within weeks, perhaps days.

He did say that the US would give journalists and the inspectors time to get out, so apparently it will not be a surprise attack. He did not give a timetable but I would guess that a minimum of 72 hours warning will be given, perhaps as long as a week.
