And something else that bugs me... Isn't it obvious that the very NEED for inspectors is clear evidence that NO ONE expects Iraq to disarm unless it's forced to? Or, for that matter, that NO ONE trusts Saddam to do what he's supposed to do unless someone's watching over his shoulder?

And if we are forced to use inspectors, then doesn't it go without saying that Saddam can easily work on other weapons in places where the inspectors aren't around?

Sheesh! Am I missing something really obvious here, or has a lot of the world gone spineless and crazy?
