Prediction: after the fall of saddam and the mullahs, iran/iraq have an opportunity to be the india/china in the next few decades in terms of human capital. Stalin clones, medieval religous leaders, or arab potentates for that matter do not help put food on the table and certainly don't help to pay for college for the kids. Will the world be pissed off at the US for awhile? Sure. How long will that anger last? If we follow marshall plan principles, surprisingly short. And the europeans will wake up too. mike PS would be nice to get a path to peace underway in the israel/pal conflict
