The essential difference between Saddam and Hitler is that Hitler had the Wermacht. The Wermacht was a capable and reliable fighting force. Saddam's military is neither capable nor reliable. Saddam can only accomplish his desire to dominate by fear, deceit and intimidation which is why he is so desirous of getting his hands on WMDs. It is also why he is such a threat to the US, the region and the world. JLA
