What dying for someone else's oil is selfless? I think our military should be used to protect this country form attack (something they couldn't do on 9/11 for some reason) and make this country a safer place to live. The first Gulf War did not make the U.S. a safer place to live. In fact, it is what eventually resulted in our being attacked on 9/11. OBL said it was the presence of U.S. troops in SA that really irks him and drove him to attack us.
