Iraq's oil isn't that important right now (except that it enabled Iraq to fund the WMD program in the first place) but the fact that Iraq sits in the middle of the biggest oil producing region in the world is. It is (partially) about oil, but most of the people who say "its about oil" are trying to imply that it is about an attempt to grab Iraq's oil which it is not. Tim
