re: Powell could have, as did the other members, show the courtesy of remaining in the UN Security Council chambers. He knew full well that he moment he walked out the door that the US media would follow.
Powell has already read the response of Iraqi ambassador in a press earlier, before he made his speech. There was no reason to stay.
If Iraqi ambassador would wait for Powell to give his speech before answering to it then Powell might have waited for response.......
