Kerry did make a mistake voting against Desert Storm. One of the few he's made. The charge he was Kennedy's guy was true to a degree back then. But that 12 years ago when he was a junior senator. Kerry would vote differently now, and Kennedy has little influence with him these days. (See I admit a Kerry mistake, gg) There is no need to apologize for Kerry. The Kennedys are a respected family that have done much for this country. Ted Kennedy may be the lesser of the Kennedys but he is still a Kennedy. And frankly, I will take any Kennedy over a Bush any ole day. ted
