DS,

re: Spinnin' Crisco

<< Why do you call "trying to expand their market" a "spin"? >>

It was Barney Dewey, not our threadmate straight life, who used the word "Spin" in the title of the article posted.

Barney Dewey is the right hand stooge of Andrew Seybold who occassionally has some interesting things to say about wireless, and Barney writes for Andy's "Wireless Outlook" newsletter where "Cisco Loses My Respect With Their Spin On Sharing Of Wi-Fi Technology" was published.

We probably all have journalists and commentators on industries we closely follow, and we also have those we consider close to useless.

I do not mind saying that Barney Dewey is very near the bottom of my list and Barney lost my respect the 2nd time I read commentary by him and has failed to gain it back since.

He is a bloody ~!@#$%^ nitwit. <g>

Best
