If the Saudis coughed up on their oil resources, and Saddam had not been highlighted --whatever the political motivation--into the bogeyman, do you think the US government and the US businessmen would be cozy with him in order to get a good deal for oil, especially if there didn't exist new Shock and Awe type technology, technology thought to sanitize the warring process with little risk to American lives? |
