You mean President Bush's job was to read to schoolchildren while the nation is under attack? That's rediculous. He should have immediately left and gone into hiding so he wasn't the next target of attack, and show some leadership to the nation from from a secret location. His schedule was known that day.

BTW, shock is a very normal human emotion. Especially when something of that magnitude happens. You'd think he'd at least show some emotion when given such tragic news, even if he is trained to keep his composure. Seems rather odd to me that he just nodded as if he was just given the latest score in the Superbowl.

Well, if I was in a position of authority, I wouldn't continue reading to schoolchildren or continue a meeting with a Senator while the nation was under attack. Some leaders and defenders we have?!? They dropped the ball on 9/11. The question everyone should be asking is, why?
