You cannot protect a workforce that is paid 1000% more than the ROW and survive... partner with these people and the net effect is a good one.

The problem is that in software, it is the developers who often know the IP aspects the best. On the other hand, the auto assembly worker probably know nothing more than a screw is different from a wrench.

By outsourcing IT projects, we directly help other countries develop this strategic industry which will compete against us in a much shorter time frame than other industries.

I think it's a safer bet to turn H1-Bs into one of us than help improve the competition.
