Hawk, apparently, you haven't seen this:

capitolhillblue.com

Bottom line is the president, nor anyone, has made an effective case for war that is not based on fear, speculation, preemptive behavior, information that's been proven false (much like Saddam's) and fabricated.

You don't seem to draw upon the parallel of how America is actually behaving much like we accuse Saddam of behaving--minus the torture of political enemies. Bush is using propaganda against our own people; he's lying; he's manipulating the timing of press event in order to block out press coverage of an opposite point of view; he's bribing allies; insulting allies; and, as commander in chief, he can't even get his act together on exactly how he's going to prosecute this war. In short, he's endangering the lives of Americas sons and daughters and making, for the first time in my memory, Americans embarrassed to be Americans while traveling abroad.

Hawk, please answer this. What single act has Bush put forward to help ease the conditions which breed terrorism?
