I was actually a strong Bush supporter.

But I think on the negotiations front, which is a key skill for the leader of the remaining superpower in the world, he is a dismal failure.

You know how in companies, managers don't get ahead if they piss everybody off. They don't get what they want. You also have to learn how to keep your mouth shut occassionally. Act like things matter to you even if they don't (UN endorsement of war, for example). I'm talking about basic leadership skills here.

I am convinced that both Clinton and Bush sr. could have handled this iraq crisis better if they wanted to- just go in and not tell anybody or back a coup or who knows what. Making a loud declaration "we're going to war with or without you!!!", or overtly supporting assassination "it only takes one bullet to do what we want"... is not leadership, I mean this is really obvious if you ask me.
