Assays Confirm Discovery of High Grade Ore Shoot

Consolidated Viscount Resources Ltd. (CVR-VSE) is pleased to announce that
assays from underground workings in the Piedro Bola adit of the Las
Coloradas concession in Durango, Mexico are exceptional.

The Las Coloradas concession consists of 12,000 acres hosting a 5 km long
shear zone, approximately 2.5 metres wide with an indicated depth of at
least 700 metres. High grade vertical ore shoots occur along the shear.
Thirteen mines were operating in the period from 1938 to 1940 along the 5
km structure until a major accident on the "El Hogar" mine virtually
terminated all activity. "El Hogar" records show production grades as high
as 94 grams of gold and 18 kg silver per ton.

Five old mines have been reopened and adits driven to reach ore shoots.
These include the Santa Anita, Contrabando, Piedra Bola and Escandalo adits
and the Escandalo shaft, located near the site of the former El Hogar shaft.
The Escandalo shaft has been sunk to a depth of 120 metres.

At Piedro Bola a high grade ore shoot was discovered in the main adit. A
crosscut decline winze intercepted the ore shoot approximately 40 metres
below the main adit level. A rise was completed along the ore shoot and
samples confirm continuity of ore throughout the shoot. The ore shoot is
open at both ends. Several hundred tons of ore were extracted and mining of
ore along strike is continuing. The strike length remains undetermined.

Assay results from the newly identified ore shoot include:

65.7 gpt gold and 5,418 gpt silver across 90 cm
64.9 gpt gold and 4,657 gpt silver across 35 cm
191.5 gpt gold and 14,859 gpt silver across 15 cm

Weighted average results for nine (9) samples taken from the structure are:

44.4 gpt gold and 3,570 gpt silver across an average sample width
of 36 cm

The width of the structure exposed within the new workings varies between 90
and 160 cm (1.6 metres).

The nine (9) samples were check-assayed by American Assay Laboratories in
Sparks, Nevada. Gold was analyzed using fire assay and silver values were
determined by gravity separation. Additional check-assays will be performed
on a regular basis as mining of ore continues.
