If this technology was so compelling, then it is much less understandable that not one of the big engineering companies ever bought it out.
I agree, if this was compelling, there would be no lack of VC or other capital to make it happen. But it seems REFR can only obtain financing by means of offshore stock sales, using the highly-disreputable investment bank of Ailouros, Ltd.
Goldman or Rothschild they ain't.
Looking at the early posts on the REFR board on SI, it appears that some division of General Electric Corporation entered into a "license" agreement" with REFR. What became of this agreement? GE apparently let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make untold billions of dollars slip through their fingers. But of all the press releases available on the REFR website, I couldn't find the one that reads, GE checks out REFR products, management, declares, "EUUUWWW, NO THANKS!"
However, there IS one that denies that GE is going to take them over, LOL!
When I saw that I realized that these people (including "N. Dixon") are charlatans who have no shame.
The early posts on the REFR thread are really quite entertaining, please don't read this one while drinking any kind of beverage: Message 2497779 |
