You'd give Ken Lay the benefit of the doubt?

Yes. Last time I checked, a person was innocent until proven guilty.

And what would you do to a guy who mugs someone for $20?

Give him the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty.

If you know of evidence that Ken Lay did anything wrong, how about bringing it forth. Otherwise, the right thing for YOU to do is to shut the f*ck up until some evidence is available.

It is interesting to me that you liberals are all for protecting the rights of the accused until the accused is someone with wealth. Typical liberal hypocrisy.

Lay may well be indicted yet. But I wouldn't assume he is guilty before he has even been charged with a crime.
