I've met him. And know that what you said is NOT true! You would be VERY surprised I'm sure. You would like him, and apologize for what you said as well. Yes, he differs with your opinion sometimes. He will state what he considers proof, and also state his "opinion." I've met literally thousands of people in my lifetime, and certainly wouldn't put him anywhere close to the "liar" category. In fact, even writing that is ludicrous...
And as far as the left being 'civil'....As I've said, I have MANY liberal friends. Many in the family as well. Most are quite civil.
But I will say that when one looks at some of the threads here...Donkey's Inn for instance, and actually reads or looks over maybe 80 or so posts, one wonders if there is much civility left with some of the left --as in Green's, socialists/marxists, or progressives....
I personally think that the left that was so rabid about Gore and that debacle, is behind this anti-Bush-stuff.
It is one thing to not want war. No one does that I know. BUT it is another thing to NOT "believe" our President and Secretary of State are telling us the truth. (They only have all the Special Forces services of Interpol, UK, US Military, CIA, FBI, etc etc to draw information from, to say nothing of MANY defectors over the years in a position to KNOW the truth....)
There is NO reason either or any of them would sully their reputations for the "joy" of going to war. To think so is absurd, in the extreme!!!!
Hopefully, with all the raids and captures that are taking place everywhere, there will be AMPLE proof to point out that the President is right. We are in danger. To say or think otherwise is just not sensible. |
