I did make an appearance a PEEDACK where I was mobbed as usual and asked for autographs by hordes of well wishers. Unfortunately they had mistaken me for am movie star. You would be amazed how many fans think Boris Karloff is still alive.

I would have something intelligable to report but I am still absorbing the sensations and shocks of so many diamonds and gold glitterati. Someone slipped something in my drink at the coffee shop. It was a horrible drug, somthing, called "I gotta mine." It completely dulls the critical geological faculty. Everyone I talked to "had a mine." Some had 3 grams of that, and 100 thousand tons of this, but is was "all a mine." It was terribly confusing. something told me in the back of my mine that they couldn't all be mines, but the numbers and details and bokerage reports kept swirling in my head. Tango, Starfield etc. etc.. Every country's jursidictions had changed for the better, they were all mine friendly.. except of course, Canada.

Which brings me to a sad point. Apparently now the Federal government is on the warpath to kill mining on its territories. The department of fisheries and oceans has mandated it appears absolute zero discharge into lakes and river by placer miners. Of course no industrial process or city or person has zero discharge into the environment. If they do, they are awfully constipated. I think it is the liberal mandate. They did something similar to Kerr Addison in the late 60's early 70's in Ontario. They do control riparian rights and air quality discharge.

These are not reasonable or balanced regulations. They do not apply to the politician's home areas, they do not apply to the rest of Canada or its industry. It is a political arrow with nefarious purpose. People who vote for politicians who react arbitrarily and support such arbitrary focused manner of government and how incidentally do not intend to nor do keep election promises -- are not thinking. Provincially or federally are there any solutions? Is there any reasonable thinking? It is getting very hard to see the light. They keep turning on the darkness.
