Hawk, go back and read the first couple hundred posts on this thread. You'll discover all of us, who are here now who were here then, have agreed that Saddam is a brutal dictator who has murdered and tortured his political enemies.

Bush has yet to declare that he's going after all of the bad dictators, only this particular one. Unfortunately, the greasy nature of this administration (so many connected to the oil industry, including the Bush and Cheney family) and the fact he's hiding his questionable election as president and a worsening economy, make his reasons for this war suspect.

Regarding Afghanastan, is that crisis over completely? Or has it been tossed back a bit, only to brew again in varying form?
