Khalid newest inmate at infamous Bagram prison By Rahimullah Yusufzai PESHAWAR: Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, allegedly a top al-Qaeda military planner, is the latest in a long list of suspected anti-US operatives to have been shifted to the secret, CIA-run prison at the Bagram airbase north of Kabul. Former Taliban foreign minister Mulla Wakil Ahmad Mutawwakil is the most well known prisoner at Bagram. Abdul Salam Zaef, who served as the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan, was held at Bagram before being shifted to the US military base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
