You are likely right. As a rule I try to ignore news because I think it may effect the market over the next hours but over days it is meaningless and I just get confused if I try to react to news.

The news of the sons capture was not all that shocking but the headline about us tracking Binney boy through the mountains was absurd and that is the one that just torched me.

The other possibility I've pointed out is the spooks may be playing games and trying to get people to move and react to these release's. Perhaps get Binney boy to fire up his phone so we can pin point him kind of thing.
