Yea! - Good news from out of the blue. I guess it just goes to show how many projects they must be looking at. I had never heard or seen anything about a JV with Playmates Toys. They're a large toy/video/interactive game company in Asia. I've heard MDK is a pretty spiffy game with appealing action characters. This should make for great CGI animation. It will also be pushed worldwide --they love this stuff in Asia too. Mainframe's on a roll --they've inked two new shows in 3 months --one with Eurpoeans and one with Asians --Not a bad global reach. They're getting attention from all over. This ought to put their booked revenues closer to 50million now with some pretty phenomenal growth numbers over last year -- well over 100%. No doubt they'll get some distribution rights or royalties or something on top of the production income. Get a few more of these and a movie or two and they're the largest CGI animator in the world by a factor of 10 times --with the largest revenue stream, good royalties/rights/library development, actually making a fast growing profit line (unlike the red-ink with the others). I can't help but feel that once the world discovers this gem it will be at $20 easy.
