Your response serves admirably to reaffirm the point I raised. You implied that perhaps this was a place where not everyone could feel free to post poetry. Your question was basically rhetorical. My response was to point out that certainly, despite your posting something that a number of people might have found more than a tad outre, no one raised the issue with you or implied that you should not post what you want here. Personally, I found that this particular image did not mix all that well with my morning latte and Bavarian cream donut, but so be it. My momentary repugnance was my own affair. If you liked it, that's all that counts. I have only raised this issue because you flounced in with an implication that people perhaps could not post whatever poetry they want here. That is antithetical to the spirit of the thread, and I have seen no evidence of it. My own thinking is that your earlier desire to somewhat forcibly repristinate the Feelies thread is taking you rather far afield. This thread does not need restoration, Christine. It seems to be doing just fine.
