we are having here hasn't taken place <g>, well... This exact
discussion also taking (taken?) place at Microsoft, Sun, Oracle,
IBM, Netscape, et al., well... <gg>. There's no magic bullet, IMO.
They HAVE to go outside of the NW universe now (or they should have
1.5 years ago). That's why I said, maybe the best thing they could do
is to "chop it and shop it", coz' I just don't "see it happening"
any longer. I DID -- before February of this year. Before CalPERS,
even with the naysayers like Dan Dorfman, Mark Cuban (the "short"
supreme), etc... But the p*ssed away too (much too much) time after
the Frankenberg - Schmidt period (aka, Marengi). I see "FLAT" at best.
