Did you know that Bush will no longer take questions from the Press Corp at random? There is a list and if you are not on the list, you will not be called on.....talk about censoring. Slowly but surely, they are cutting the public off from any criticism or dissent of this administration.

I saw the so called press conference and I saw the Fleisher press conference later at which he admitted giving the prez the list of reporters on which to call.

We have a president whose staff lacks the confidence that he can handle a press conference, who snubs reporters his staff thinks are likely to ask tough questions (Helen Thomas was overlooked...she has been an icon of presidential press coverage), and for whom everything has to be rehearsed...this man gaffes each and everytime he speaks spontaneously. Rove must have this recurring nightmare. Whereas I thought he had the re-election sewn up, I am not at all convinced right now. People will support him out of patriotic duty, but the support is very thin and his shortcomings increasingly apparent.

Don't worry. This stuff is not lost on the American people.
