I've seen this happen twice: a) The British intelligence dossier that was plagerized; and, b) The US spying on the homes and offices of UN Security Council members. I also believe the American media is too quick to give the government what it wants, this in the hopes that it'll get a scoop over its competition. I also believe that elements of media ownership have bought into waging the war, and this trickles down to reporters and news directors who wish to trickle up. >>>the general belief is the American news media has a more liberal than conservative slant<<< The GOPwinger strategy was twofold: a) accuse the mainstream media of being bias; b) buy up as much of it as possible in order to inject a conservative slant.
