And there may yet be a workable compromise?

As I pointed out previously, there was the possibility to a compromise for the UN Security Council. To whit - a concrete deadline with specific deliverables. Britain's first attempt was going to be a 3 to 7 day disarm or else. Then they switched to March 17 - disarm or else. And now there is another shift as outlined below. Which is in line with what France and Germany had been asking for.
