In 1933 a meglomaniac leader of a powerful country pulled out of the League of Nations because he felt that it had become restrictive to his plans for world conquest. That leader was Hitler and as you can see, by destroying the world organisation he destroyed the one avenue which could have stopped his mad plan before it resulted in world war. His goal was to assemble the largest, most technologically advanced, and powerful army in the world to promote the idea of hegenemy for his people and country.

In three years Ethiopia was falling victim to the chaos of a world without organisation, in six years Poland suffered the same fate. Things only got worse from there.
