Don't you think maybe history and experience are trying to tell you something here? Reality doesn't change or vanish just because you wish it would. It's still there. The problem is to see that those who have power are also in situations and nations that require them to use it well and wisely.

NOBODY, but NOBODY, outside of Iraq will claim Saddam is a good ruler. You don't like Bush. Fine. Do you think he, in conjunction with the rest of the US gov't which he must deal with and work through, is worse than Saddam?

It's rather apparent at this point that one or the other will prevail. Who do you prefer? Bush and the US? Or Saddam and Iraq?

And keep in mind in two years we have yet another Presidential election here in the US. Bush may be gone after that. But the process of electing Presidents won't be.
