When did I turn this into a discussion of black and white?

All I'm saying is that if your goal is to disarm Saddam, inspections aren't going to do it. Instead, if your goal is to "contain" him and maintain the status quo in the Middle East, then the actions of France, Russia, and China make a lot of sense. Too bad that means letting a madman get his hands on weapons of mass destruction.

But hey, no worries, right? After all, like you said, the "world" thinks that it is effectively dealing with him. This is the same "world" that did nothing to get inspectors back into Iraq until Bush pressed the issue.
