Never, at anytime in my post did I even mention the military situation in Iraq. I mistakenly assumed nothing.

My post simply pointed out that given the current situation, moving forward with a vote was the best move; and that France (the topic of this thread) has much to lose - the unknown being what embarrasments we will find when we get to Iraq.

Nothing in either of your posts addresses that point.

There are many assumptions in your post, which I could easily demonstrate as invalid, but your whole post is OT.
