I think , regardless of whether guinea or camareoon end up swinging towards the US, that France has effectively used their veto. Their actions will have repercussions in US public opinion as well as US foreign policy inter-actions in the future. France has isolated itself from the US as well as half of Europe. They will have the Russians to count on from here on. If France is more comfortable with the Russians rather than US, so be it. HH
