U.S. natural-gas inventories probably fell 140 Bcf = 16.7% to 698 Bcf last week, according to the average estimate in a survey of analysts and traders by Bloomberg.

In the week ended Feb. 28, inventories fell 176 Bcf to 838 Bcf, compared with 1819 Bcf a year earlier and a five-year average of 1440 Bcf.
