Michael. IMO. I think one of the things going on is that france, germany, and Russia combining efforts to hand the USA a humiliating defeat in world public opinion. They can't do it by military force but it looks as though they will succeed through the UN. Our own media is helping these foreign powers in the defeat of the USA, sadam supporters and anti-Prez Bush are also aiding these foreign powers in the defeat of USA. If these foreign powers...I like to refer to as the enemy....who support sadam, mugabe and scum like them win this war of public opinion it will be open season on the USA by any 2 bit scum dictator in the world.

Think of the humiliation if the USA has to bring all those troops home....A win for sadam....The horrors of Sept. 11 may seem small compared to what may await us in the future from the real enemy radical islam.

You ask why don't those countries who appose war with iraq supply troops and support to keep pressure on sadam for an extended time? IMO those countries want complete defeat of the USA in the world of public opinion and they will use whatever weapon they can find even sadam.

Course the fact the those countries have signed multi billion dollar deals with sadam for oil contracts just don't seem to matter much at all.
