If the US and its citizens wish to flail away at the world in this fashion then they better be prepared to accept and expect the consequences. What is shortsighted in many folks' vision is the fact that if Bush defies, bullies and threatens the rest of the world, we won't get their help or sympathy if our country is attacked in retaliation. We will no longer be on the short list of important allies. Even Bush's father is urging jr. to reconsider as the consequences of our acting alone are unacceptable risks, IMO.
