He probably has the WHOLE Qualcomm marketing team (both of them - Johan and Jeff) on the carpet as we speak, berating them to put a 1xEV-DV chipset on the roadmap, and get a press Release out the door by end of day. They don't have to worry about projected sampling dates. All Qualcomm chipsets sample on time every time regardless of how late they sample.
