thanks for clearing up, I goofed on my read there
I expect CPI to jump over 3% by end of this year
from higher production costs, passed on easily
from higher import prices, passed on with some difficulty

the easy part about passing on costs, is that when everyone uniformly experiences the same higher costs
then it is easier for them collectively to pass them on
the exception will be for some producer to eat that higher incremental cost

the harder part is distributors scrambling to maintain market share
by eating the currency shift in their price structure to American buyers
more competition here to hang onto mktshare
this is nowhere near as big an issue inside the USEconomy where higher costs will be passed on to consumers

the new arrival of bad inflation is not factored into any bond or gold models that I read about
it is a critical piece to the USDollar Decline Vicious Circle
in time, the USA economy will have the biggest such price inflation effect among the major industrial nations
because we have the most bloated currency
and compounded by our large foreign-held debt

ALL PART OF THE DEBT WRITEDOWN ACROSS THE ENTIRE US ECONOMY
