Either AAPL is indeed up for sale, or they are going to endeavor to create a few strategic alliances in the near future. I would like to believe that the latter is true. In support of this theory, one of the more telling details I found in the SF Chronicle article was the speculation that Jobs would name two more board members at MacWorld Boston, namely ORCL CEO Larry Ellison and Sun Micro CEO Scott "Mac"Nealy. If this happens, stock price momentum is certain to steam ahead.
