Well, I understand both were buried deeply in the 172 page
report from Blix and some of the info was hidden in the
appendix (at least that is what one TV report said).
Additionally, the 172 page report is filled with many
instances of material breeches & clear Iraqi non-compliance
that were not discussed by Blix in his 45 minute oral
report to the UN last Friday, although Blix had plenty of
time to wax poetic about the wonderful things Iraq was
doing.

This is typical action by the UN. They have been & continue
to be a global debate society. They have failed to act in
many crises, resulting in the slaughter of well more than a
million innocent people in just one instance (Rwanda). The
UN stood silently by while ethnic cleansing slaughtered
tens of thousands in Kosovo. The list goes on & on.

I understand that in the 30 or so armed conflicts since the
UN's inception, that the UN only sanctioned 3 of them. As
much as most people do not desire war, myself included, I
think that there are times when use of force is
appropriate. And the UN seems to want to debate & debate &
debate, while far too many innocent people are slaughtered.
