Chris K I asked ETrade what I could do to get these spinoff restricted shares out of my account, as I have given up hope that they will ever have any value to me. Here was their reply: Dear Mr. xxxxxx: Thank you for choosing ETRADE Financial. As the stocks in question are all currently restricted, you would either need to fill out paperwork to have the restriction removed ($150.00 fee) or you can send us a notarized letter of instruction detailing that you would like us to remove the stock from your account and that you are giving up all claim to any future value that the stock might have. Please send this to: ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////// As least now I know what I will have to do to take out the trash and dump it. Let's see, the bank offers notary service.........
