if the course of action is a preemptive strike against a country that is not an imminent threat, what do you call it? John, this is not being argumentative. I find this strikes at the heart of the matter as far as "believe our Administration, or don't believe our Administration" is concerned. Our Administration has said they consider Iraq an imminent threat. And have given us many examples...those they felt they could tell us about right now, anyhow. I think the term 'anti-war' is a strawman too. WHO IS FOR WAR? An "anti-war" term implies there is an opposite term so "pro-war".... or it could follow...."anti-Saddam" or "pro-Saddam"..... etc. We could probably all agree on "pro-Saddam following 12 years of UN resolutions!!" couldn't we? So again, I ask you.... What do you think an "imminent threat" is...? Do you think we have to wait until Saddam sends enough money to suicide bombers for them to do it, and perhaps lets loose a series of boats on our ports with perhaps dirty bombs and or other WMD...or...
