yields, I find it curious that you would choose to believe Saddam Hussein's word over that of George Bush. Bush never gassed his people with nerve gas, Bush didn't kill a million Iranians in an unprovoked war, nor did he attack Kuwait or does he pay $25,000 to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers. George Bush is our President. In the shadow of 911 we will give him all the support we can to avoid another terrorist event against our country. The 'bigtime disconnect with the international community" you allude to has to do with the international community's long-time commitment to the art of appeasement and isn't practiced in this part of the world anymore. Europe couldn't even get it's act together to stop genocide in Serbia without the aid of the U.S. We do indeed regret that our European friends no longer have the will nor the moral outrage to act against despots and murderers.
