Considered. And in that link - which I'd hardly call authoritative or sweeping, by any means - the first reference to that measure is:

"90% downside volume and price action"

Descriptive, even if still a bit fuzzy. (90% of what? Volume, price, both, or neither? And over only the designated time periods, or any, while only certain ones are discussed? Calculated analytically, or numerically?) Even so, that phrase doesn't, in any way, evoke the stunted,

"90% down day"

...which was, fundamentally, my point.

Are you familiar with the concept of DD?

Most assuredly. Are you with credibility?
