Absolutely!!

This was my prediction from last Jan when I first started buying into ALSC. However, this market did not develope as nicely as I thought it is capable of - US $800 to $1000 amrket did develope and did make a difference. However, Cyrix did not have the muscle to push this thing overseas e.g. their first channal and China efforts is the 133mHz MediaGX this summer. 133mHz is just too little too late.

But, with NSM behind it, I am sure that they are going to drive this thing to the tilt. MediaGX was introduced back in Jan and Q3 sales is just ~300k/Q. Nothing. My prediction is within 1 yr, NSM should be able to drive it to >1M/mo with 25% US sales and 75% overseas sales. 1M/mo oc CPU will need one full fab to support it. IF that increases usage overall by 5%, that would put this back into a full shortage situation.

I am very bullish on this merger, both on DRAMs and also on NSM. On 1M/mo of MediaGX sales at $50 ASP and 50% margins, can you imagine what that would do to the stock?! I am waiting/wishing that NSM will pull back to mid-20s and then load up a bunch.
