OT - Iraq aside, a couple of factual corrections in former Yugoslavia. The genocide didn't happen in Serbia, it happened in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. The US knew about it as early as fall 1992 - something I can confirm personally. We did exactly nothing for three years while 250,000 people were slaughtered, Sarajevo was besieged and a couple million people ended up as refugees.

We pick and choose our battles to suit ourselves. Our involvement in ex-Yugoslavia was just enough but way too late for many. And the hesitation came from both the Bush and Clinton administrations, nothing partisan about it.
